(More customer reviews)It's unfortunate that I bought these to give away!The description is right on, so I'll try to add a little extra detail (I'll use the katana as a reference.)
The blade isbalanced at a point of 3in above the tsuba which is (and feels) great, especially for such an inexpensive set. The blade itself is stainless steel and although it's not suitable for full contact sword play, it's full tang and triple pined to the handle making it very solid for demonstrations.I'm sure it would work in a pinch!The blade is close to a mirror finish, it could be further polished if desired.It lacks a fuller, and the hamon is artificial but not mechanical (meaning it was most likely applied by hand).It's far more attractive than the machine ground similarly priced bargain singles that I have in my collection.
The tsuba is oval cast metal (but very solid) and features double dragons.The habaki, which holds the sword in the scabbard, is a lighter brass and stamped with details on both sides.When in the scabbards all 3 swords are held tight, no rattles or noise when shaken.No slipping off the blade due to gravity, I'm not sure if it was luck.One scabbard was damaged in shipping and is being replaced, so I can attest the scabbards are wooden. They are capped on both ends with antiqued brass, featuring dragons.They are wrapped with a black nylon cord and they are carved allowing the natural wood to contrast the black paint.
On close inspection the handle isn't the best quality.It's stamped/pressed metal, but it's beautiful regardless. Both sides feature dual dragons and end with the large dragon head.There is a visible seam on both the top and the bottom where the metal meets.On one blade I could see the underlying handle wood and maybe a little glue. You can see the 3 pins on one side, but they do not protrude on the other.It doesn't really matter because all 3 blades are super solid.No rattles of the tsuba or habaki or handle or scabbard.
It is by far the best inexpensive sword set I've handled in years.We ordered through Rock Bottom Deals.Ifeel confident to recommend both them and the sword set.

These are beautiful swords and are well made. These LORD DRAGON KATANAS have antique brass dragon handles. The antique brass handle has three pins securing the handle to the full tang. The 440 stainless steel blade has a katana curve that adds to its beauty. The black wood scabbards are hand carved with the design of a dragon on the side. The cord wrappings nicely match the scabbard colors. The sword lengths are 20 inch, 32 inch and 38 inch. The base of the furniture grade stand is 13" WIDE and 14" HIGH and is constructed of wood material with a black painted finish.
